Application Method
Surface Preparation:
Concrete floors / walls should be fully cured for 3-4 weeks. Ensure that all dust, dirt, and foreign matter are scraped and brushed away. All cracks, chips, voids, and damages should be repaired first. Ensure that surface is leveled.
Priming
Apply a coat of P Primer Clear or Terrabond A solution (1:5) prior to application of Stucco Vintage smooth. On extremely absorbent porous surfaces or under extreme climatic conditions, apply 2 or 3 coats of primer.
Mixing:
Add powder to resin and mix using a drill agitator for 3 minutes until lump-free. Completely mix the full kit (10 kg powder and 5 kg resin) to form a self-leveling consistency, or mix specified powder-resin ratio (approximately 36-38% resin) to achieve a trowel applied consistency. Mixed material should be used within 15 to 20 minutes of mixing.
Application:
Stucco Vintage G300 is poured onto surface and spread with a smoothing trowel or spreader to the required thickness. Various patterns can be achieved using various application tools and method. Top coating should be applied after 48-72 hours.
For trowel application, Stucco Vintage G300 is applied in 2 coats with steel trowel. Apply first coat of 1.5-2.0 mm, allow to dry for 6-8 hours, and sand the surface with 400-600 grit fine sandpaper. Apply second coat of 1-1.5 mm, allow to dry for 6-10 hours, and sand the surface with 400-600 grit fine sandpaper to get various patterns. Apply clear coat after 8-10 hours.
Stucco Vintage Clear Coat Application:
Stucco Vintage clear coat is available in two gloss levels, High Gloss (HG) and Low Gloss (LG). For High Gloss level, use Epirok TC (solvent-free epoxy clear coat) as topcoat. For Low Gloss finish, apply Diamond Seal (water based acrylic clear coat) as topcoat. Stucco Vintage clear coat is applied in 2 coats.
