Golden Bay Restaurant

The Golden Bay Restaurant, a renowned dining destination in Manila, underwent a transformative renovation that highlighted the importance of both aesthetic enhancement and energy efficiency. With 8,000 m² of the restaurant’s exterior being refurbished, this project is a prime example of Terraco’s commitment to providing sustainable and high-performance solutions for modern architectural needs.

Terraco EIFS System:
Terraco’s Exterior Insulation Finishing System (EIFS) was selected for its superior energy efficiency, providing long-term insulation that enhances the building’s thermal performance. This system not only reduces energy consumption but also ensures the structure’s resilience to environmental conditions, making it a perfect choice for the tropical climate of the Philippines.

Silshine Metallic:
The restaurant’s façade was further elevated with the application of Silshine Metallic in a luxurious Gold shade. This premium, mid-sheen decorative topcoat, based on acrylic and silicone polymers with pearlescent pigments, added a striking metallic lustre to the exterior, ensuring that the Golden Bay Restaurant stands out in Manila’s urban landscape. Silshine Metallic is a water-based, eco-friendly product that aligns with Terraco’s green building philosophy, contributing to sustainable and energy-efficient construction practices.

Key Features:

  • 8,000 m² of exterior surface covered with Terraco EIFS
  • Silshine Metallic finish in Gold, providing a unique pearlescent metallic sheen
  • Eco-friendly, water-based product contributing to energy-efficient design
  • Part of Terraco’s sustainable building solutions

Project Outcome:
The renovation of Golden Bay Restaurant is a showcase of how modern insulation systems combined with innovative finishes can transform a building both functionally and aesthetically. By using Terraco EIFS and Silshine Metallic, the project achieved not only a striking exterior but also enhanced energy efficiency, aligning with contemporary sustainable building standards.
