Terraco Terralite Dash incorporates the use of natural graded aggregate from the finest natural quartz crystals to create an attractive natural pebble-dash finish. It gives architects the freedom to design elements to meet their vision, creating a truly unique and stylised appearance on any project.

Areas Of Use

• Used to simulate natural stone.
• Designed primarily for exterior use.
• Suitable for application to concrete, cement rendering, lightweight concrete, cement fibre boards, Sprayplaster as well as gypsum dry walls and chipboard.
• Suitable for application on almost any type of project – hotels and resorts, condominiums, hospitals and medical centres, government offices and more.
• Trowel apply the basecoat and while still wet manually or mechanically cast the pebble dash into the basecoat and embed into the backing plaster.
• Ideal for Terraco EIFS.

Application Method

Prepare substrate by removing all loose and friable matter. Stop and fill where necessary. Ensure that the surface is clean, dry and sound.

New Work
Roller apply one coat of Terraco P Primer Textured and allow to cure. Trowel apply Terraco Terralite Dash Basecoat, tinted to the required colour, and while still wet manually or mechanically cast the Terraco Terralite Dash into the basecoat and embed using a plastic roller. Once cured, apply either one or two coats of Terraco Topcoat. The coating system must be applied in strict accordance with manufacturer’s instructions to colour and aggregate size as per approved architectural sample.

Redecoration
Protect all adjacent areas not to be covered. All cracks, chips, voids and damages should be repaired with an appropriate filler. Prepare by removing all loose and flaking paint, grease, dirt and grime. Spot prime exposed areas appropriately. Proceed as for new work.
