Product Overview

A chic, low build, lightly textured, protective and decorative w all coating. Terracoat Smooth is easily applied using a lambswool roller, provides a seamless finish to achieve a modern look. However, when the product is applied by spatula it creates a more rustic, heritage stucco appearance.

Areas Of Use

• Used on surfaces of concrete, cement, rendering, lightweight concrete, fairfaced stonework, brickwork, blockwork, plywood, antirust primed steel and galvanised steel. Performs equally well on interior surfaces of gypsum dry wall and chipboard.
• Used extensively on high-end developments, both housing and commercial.
• A roller applied lightly textured coating with low consumption rates makes it a very economical finish.
• Sometimes applied by spatula to create a more rustic Spanish plaster or heritage effect.

Application Method

Prepare substrate by removing all loose and friable matter. Stop and fill where necessary. Ensure that the surface is clean, dry and sound.

New Work
Apply one coat of Terraco P Primer Pigmented and allow to cure. Apply Terraco Terracoat Smooth (select required performance option*) with a sheepskin roller allowing for drying times between coats, as per approved architectural sample.

Redecoration
Protect all adjacent surfaces not to be covered. All cracks, chips, voids and damages should be repaired with an appropriate filler. Prepare by removing all loose and flaking paint, grease, dirt and grime. Spot prime exposed areas appropriately. Proceed as for new work.
