Terol Coarse is a trowel / spray applied mineral based decorative coating with a coarse Tyrolean finish. It is recommended as a finish for Terraco EIFS.
A high build, coarse textured mineral based coating overcoated with Terracoat Stain. This product has been developed to allow designers the option of using a more coarse textured finish option, and can be applied by spray or trowel depending on the texture required. Terol Coarse provides excellent protection of the exterior facade thanks to the mixture of crushed and precisely graded laminar, inert extenders, special cements, limes and additives.
• Suitable for residential complexes and private residences.
• Designed for exterior facades made of concrete, cement rendering, lightweight concrete, and fairfaced brickwork / blockwork, but is also usable on interior surfaces.
• Applied by spray or trowel.
• Ideal for EIFS.
Application Method
Prepare substrate by removing all loose and friable matter. Stop and fill where necessary. Ensure that the surface is clean, dry and sound.
New Work
Apply Terraco Terol Coarse and overcoat with two coats of Terraco Terracoat Stain to colour and texture as per architecturally approved sample.
Redecoration
Protect all adjacent areas not to be covered. All cracks, chips, voids and damages should be repaired with an appropriate filler. Prepare by removing all loose and flaking paint, grease, dirt and grime. Where necessary prime exposed areas appropriately. Proceed as for new work.
