Terracoat Excel is a trowel applied decorative texture coating giving an alpine scratch finish. It is available in 3 grain sizes. Recommended as a finish for Terraco EIFS.

Product Overview

Exceeding expectations and excelling in performance, Terracoat Excel is a trowel applied coating that is a stalwart which has stood the test of time having proved extremely popular for many years. A textured, flat raked, high build textured coating giving an alpine scratch finish. Terracoat Excel is available in various grain sizes, and can be applied in a vertical, horizontal, random or cross-hatched pattern.

Areas Of Use

  • Suitable for exterior and interior application.
  • Suitable for all types of substrates – rendered surfaces, cement fibre boards, Sprayplaster, off-shutter concrete, as well as gypsum dry walls and chipboard.
  • This product has been used on almost all types of buildings – residential, commercial, leisure, education and more.

Application Method

Prepare substrate by removing all loose and friable matter. Stop and fill where necessary. Ensure that the surface is clean, dry and sound.

New Work
Roller apply one coat of Terraco P Primer Textured and allow to cure. Apply Terraco Terracoat Excel Pro or Ultra (select required performance option*) 1.0mm / 1.5mm / 2.0mm / 3.0mm (select grain size) to colour and texture as per approved architectural sample.

Redecoration
Protect all adjacent areas not to be covered. All cracks, chips, voids and damages should be repaired with an appropriate filler. Prepare by removing all loose and flaking paint, grease, dirt and grime. Spot prime exposed areas appropriately. Proceed as for new work.
