Handycoat Interior Stucco Putty

Product Overview

Handycoat Interior Stucco Putty is a ready to use filler and skim-coat for most building surfaces, including sand /
cement render and gypsum board. It has an extra fine particle size to give a high quality even surface for
painting. Handycoat Interior Stucco Putty is specially manufactured for the painter to repair and touch up interior
surfaces, both old and new, prior to painting.

Areas Of Use

When dry, Handycoat Interior Stucco Putty bonds extremely well to cementitious materials, gypsum, gypsum boards, sprayplasters, wood, galvanised steel lathings and all common building surfaces. Ideal as a gypsum board jointing compound and skimcoat, for patching hairline cracks in walls, ceilings, repairing damage to plaster/paint work, nail holes in woodwork, making good around door architrave’s and along the top of skirting boards.

Application Method

Surface Preparation

New surfaces: Ensure that all dust, dirt and foreign matter are scraped and brushed away. Also ensure the surfaces are free from salts, oil, grease and ridges. Protect all adjacent surfaces not to be covered.

Old surfaces: Before applying to old surfaces, ensure the substrate is firm. First wash down the surface with a sugar soap solution, rinse and allow to dry before repairing or applying the primer.

Application:

Apply the filler in a thin even layer. If a thick coat is necessary, apply several thin layers, allowing to dry between layers. Lightly sand the final surface before painting, within 24 hour of application.

Clean tools and equipment with water after use.
